Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela was born on July 18, 1918 in the village of Mvezo in South Africa. He was the son of a tribal chief and grew up in a rural area. Mandela's childhood was marked by the segregation and discrimination of South Africa's apartheid system. Despite this, he received a good education and became politically active in his youth, eventually becoming a leader in the anti-apartheid movement.
